    Hello LCs,

If you have a look at your YTP you will notice this week is a bigger volume week. This is to keep your training varied and create a better training effect. To help you get out a little more, we will have an extra session on Saturday (details below), but it will be important for you to motivate and get out for some extra sessions on your own/ with your teammates/family/friends.

    Training for the week:

Tuesday(7) 4:30-6:00 Run, Agility, and Core. Meet at Millennium Park.

Thursday(9) 4:30-6:00 Run and Strength. Meet at the Teamroom.

Saturday(11) 10:00-1:00 Bike Highwood Pass. Meet at the gate at 10am with your road bike, ready to ride at 10:00AM.

The forecast is looking nice for the day with only a 30% chance of rain. We will go ahead with the ride 🙂 Be sure to bring your wind breaker for the decent as it will feel chilly. Also, bring your running shoes and clothes. If the weather turns bad, we will go for a run.

For the ride, be sure to bring cold weather clothing- tights/pants, wind breaker, full finger gloves, buff. Also, it will be very important to bring a change of clothes for after the ride so you don’t sit in wet sweaty clothes for the 1 hour ride home.

Finally, here is the link to our off-site safety plan. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sFfyoVU5SrAuNqACSYAh_OJngy2e-2N0O0BLW4GjaKI/edit?usp=sharing
