Last 2 weeks of summer training, lets get at it!
Week 1: Aug 16-22
Tuesday (17):
a.m. Meet at team room 9:00am. Strength in gym + legs only ski strength (skate gear)
p.m. Biathletes shooting camp with Roddy 1-3pm
Wednesday (18):
a.m. Meet at bottom of Norquay @9:00am. Classic rollerski.
p.m. Biathletes shooting camp with Roddy 1-3pm
Thursday (19):
a.m. Meet 8:00am @ Cemetary. Distance run, Arnica lake trail to Twin lakes. This run involves shuttling vehicles/athletes, so we will need a good amount of drivers. I encourage parents to come out for this one! 😀 😀
Saturday (21): Biathletes: ABC Rski SK rollerski biathlon race. Details TBA.
Week 2: Aug. 23-29.
Tuesday (24):
Biathletes: Shooting 9-10:30am, followed by strength and ski striding from 10:30-12:00pm. Bring a snack!
Skiers: Strength in gym and ski striding. CNC, 10:30-12:00pm
Wednesday (25): OFF
TWO JACK CAMP:
Thursday (26):
a.m. Meet at Two Jack campground @8:30am (the non-lake side). Drop off gear and head to Norquay. Z1 run forty mile creek + Edith pass. Finish at start of 1A.
p.m. Z1 Mtn bike to Johnson lake
Friday (27):
a.m. Z1-3 classic ski strength @ Sunshine
p.m. Mtn bike ride on hoodo trails in Banff
We invite parents/athletes to a potluck dinner on Friday. We will do a quick summer wrap up and give details on the fall programming.
Everyone to bring food for their own main course (firepits can be used)
Last name from A to P: Bring a salad to share
Last name Q to Z: Bring a desert to share
Saturday:
a.m. Skate rollerski TT up Norquay! Camp end at Two Jack @12:00pm.
1st week of Sept (30-5th):
There will be no sessions this first week back at school. Recover, train on own and get yourself into school mode! We’ll re-start the following Tuesday (7th)
