Great work this weekend in the AB Cup. Those were some tough winter storm conditions. We are now just 2 weeks from Nationals, so it is time for some fine tuning to get you bursting with energy and ready to rumble. Be sure to look after yourselves, get lots of sleep, and hydrate/ eat well.

Biathlon Nationals are here in Canmore this week and Team Alberta is using the front 1/2 of our teamroom for wax support. We will meet in the back 1/2 for our skiing sessions Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Training this week:
Tuesday(7) 4:30-7:00 Strength and Skate Ski with the Jackrabbits! This is a great chance for you to come out and inspire the next generation of skiers. It means a lot to the jackrabbits to have you come ski with them and talk about how awesome cross country skiing is. I have partnered you all with a jackrabbit group, so if you can’t make it to strength, at least come to ski (XC Stadium at 5:25). Dress warm as you will not be skiing very fast. Bring a snack to eat between strength and skiing. Meet upstairs in the BWTC for strength.
Wednesday(8) 4:30-6:30 Classic distance. Meet at the teamroom.
Thursday(9) 4:30-6:00 Skate distance. Meet at the teamroom.
Saturday(11) 10:00-11:30 Skate Intensity. Meet at the teamroom.
