Hello LCs,
Great work out in Vernon this weekend. All of our bike tires combined covered over 5,000km of road with the 2 days of riding. If we lined that up as a relay, we would ride from Canmore to Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia! So with all that training, you should be tired. Give yourself the chance to recover and absorb all that great training. Sleep lots, eat well, and take 2 days off this week.
With all the focus over the weekend on building aerobic capacity, this week for training we will be working on strength and speed. Team training for the week:
Tuesday(17) 4:30-6:00 Run and core. Meet at Millennium Park.
Thursday(19) 4:30-6:00 Strength and short run. Meet at the teamroom. We will be going over the new spring strength routine today.
