    Hello Team,

Great start to the new training season with our May Camp out in Vernon.  Logging 16-20 hours through the week is just awesome. You will be tired, but you will recover and become fitter, stronger athletes through that training adaptation.  To realize these gains, you need to balance it with rest.  That is the theme of the week: recovery.

Haig/Kaslo Update: Info was shared via email, but camp dates have been finalized due to snow pack for the year.

Haig will be July 2-9, but we will split the group in ½ (division TBD by who signs up to make even groups) and each group will be up for 4 days of skiing on the glacier. The Haig is open to all athletes in the Primo or TTS program and born in 2009 or older.  This is a big camp, so we have learned athletes need the commitment to training to get the most out of this camp.  We also partner with a couple other clubs for this camp.

Kaslo will be July 15-21 and open to all U16/U18 athletes. This is our most economical camp due to camping for the week. Sign up deadline for both camps will be June 1, but don’t hesitate to sign up early if you know your plans. Mark will be sharing an “Onboarding Email” with the first year U16 athletes shortly covering Training Peaks, What’sApp invitation/SafeSport policies, Heart Rate Monitor recommendations, and other info to help you get settled/ introduced to the program.
