Monday Nov 29th CNC 5:00- Skate
Thurs Dec 2nd CNC 5:00- Classic
Apply a few layers of Rode Violet (0). It looks to be warming up this week, so that should work on the CNC snow. If it gets warmer than zero then think about applying a warmer kick wax: eg 0-(+2), or a yellow softer wax.
What to bring:
-poles, boots, skis for the right technique
-water bottle, snacks
-proper clothing: gloves, toques. Layers work well so the kids can add or remove as they get warmed up or cooled down.
Don’t forget to register before Nov 30th (Tues) if you are wanting to race on Sunday. We will be needing volunteers to help with group warming up and waxing. A post will be heading out early this week to line up those people. After everyone has done the Mike Mappin clinic there should be no shortage of hands to help wax. We will make a suggestion for the glide wax that can be used for Sunday before hand that you can apply at home and we will ask that the kids skis show up to the race site early and scraped of glide wax to have them kick waxed by our wax team.
More details will be posted this week on details for Sunday.
See you this week.
