Hi Track Attack,
Canmore Nordic is starting a family mentorship program for families. Nordic skiing is a commitment and the details can be overwhelming. The next few weeks will be a busy time getting your Track Attack kids geared up for skiing. Parent alumni will be available to advise and provide helpful hints. To take advantage, please refer to the email sent from Lenke on October 20.
Monday, October 21
Track Attack 2013 and 2014: Games on foot. Likely in the snow!
Intro to Track Attack: no Track Attack until Thursday November 14.Thursday, October 24
This session has been changed from rollerskiing to ski striding. Please have your child bring classic ski poles and wearing running shoes.Saturday October 26
Yamnuska Day with a family hike up Yamnuska. Intro to Track Attack and Track Attack, parents and sibling welcome. If parents are unable to join, please make arrangements for your child to join with another family. Meet at 9:00 am at the Yamnuska Ridge & CMC Valley Trailhead. Turn around at 11:00 am. At noon, we will have a meadow picnic once we return to the parking lot. Bring water and snacks for the hike. Dress for any sort of weather. Bring your own picnic for the apres hike. I will bring a small camping BBQ if anyone wants to throw a hot dog on.

Monday, October 28: Creepy Creek Crawl at the Nordic Center
Thurday, October 31: The kids have expressed strong opinions and have staged a revolt. There will be no Track Attack on Halloween.
