Hi everybody,

Exciting week ahead because the Intro kids are joining us again and we will be a big pack of skiers out there!

Now that we are back on snow I would like to have 3 parent helpers each session to be “tailgunners”. These people will just make sure that we have some extra parental coverage so that we can ski more terrain at the Nordic center. I will make a google doc signup sheet. Note that this does not count toward volunteer hours, it just helps us run a fun, safe program.

This is how the week looks:

Monday: Classic, CNC (every session pretty much), 5-6:30pm
Put on 4-5 good layers of Rode Multigrade purple hard wax. If you don’t have this wax this is one of our go to waxes, Trailsports has it. Bring a headlamp, so we can ski outside the lit areas, bring your water bottle.

Note: Intro parents we will have a beginner’s wax clinic coming up shortly in the next couple of weeks, in the meantime if you need a hand with getting your child’s skis waxed for the next few sessions, meet in the teamroom at 4:45pm, bring the suggested wax and a cork and we can show you how to apply the wax

Thursday: Skating, CNC
