Hi Everyone,
It was a great first week on snow with lots of focus from everyone during our technique sessions and lots of enthusiasm.
Found: one green petzl headlamp and a pair of speed skating glasses (Smith and Wesson) w yellow lense and a blue head strap. If these are yours pls email Rhonda.
A busy week ahead with the start of the racing season next weekend.
Monday: Skating, remember your headlamp. No session for LT2s that were at the LL camp on the weekend.
Wednesday: Last day to register for the Dec. 1 and 2 AB cups on zone 4: https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=3678&lan=1&cartlevel=1
No late entries will be accepted. You must register your child for each race on zone4, signing up on the CNSC google race spreadsheet does not mean your child is registered for the races!Thursday: Classic. We will practice some starts for racing and also ski the courses for the weekend (in addition to our usual games etc.). Wax: apply a few layers of Rode multi-grade, if it is zero to -2 C then apply a layer of Rode violet on top.
Saturday-Sunday: AB cups at CNC. More information as to glide wax etc. and when to arrive at the site will be in a separate forum post late Thursday or Friday morning once we see what the weather will be.
