    Hello TTs,

If you picked up new classic skis at the ski swap, bring them on in for flex testing so I can mark the wax pocket.  This is very helpful for race days when we coaches/parent helpers are waxing about 100 pair of skis to know where to wax and how many layers.

If you have questions about the race sign up sheet or racing licenses, have a peak at last week’s post.

Details for the Lake Louise Camp have been emailed out last week. If you have any questions after reading the trip document, please ask.

Starting November 8, you will need to have your headlamp at every evening team training session. This is a safety issue to help you see and others see you. So dig it out, charge it up, or replace the batteries because we will be using them every week until March.

    Training this week:

Monday(1) Skate ski and Run @ CNC

5:00-6:30 Frozen Thunder is finally frozen!  But this does make it tricky as it will melt a little each day, then begin to freeze in the evening.  Sometimes we may have to adjust the plan at the last minute if skiing conditions are unsafe.  So, bring your running shoes to training tonight as we will run for part (or all) of the workout.  We will be doing some wacky sprints and balance drills.

Tuesday(2) Running games and Strength @ LGMS

5:00-6:30 Tonight we will have another round of will they sprint with a bit of strength mixed in while we run the River Trails of town.

    Thursday(4) Biathlon @ CNC

4:45-6:15 Biathlon training on skate skis.

    Saturday(6) Run @ Harvie Heights

12:30-2:30 Nice distance run around the Microwave Drop, Montane Trail, and Meander Trail. Pack a snack and meet at the Harvie Heights parking lot Here: https://goo.gl/maps/bX3AMwkvU3ejCqvv7
