    Hello Team –

    A bit of housekeeping first.
    * We will have a special presentation by Beckie Scott and Rhonda Delong on Wednesday (12). They will talk about what they learned and succeeded at during their World Cup skiing careers. This presentation is for 1997-98-99-00 athletes, at the bwtc.
    * Frozen Thunder is in bad shape. Use rocks skis until it snows.
    * Geret Coyne started a new ski grinding business in town. He is offering our club to do bulk grinding for a reduced price. Check out your skis and if they are slow, burned by an iron, scratched up, then consider getting them stoneground. We will collect a first load of skis at the end of the week.
    * We will fire up the hot box in the next few days. Sign up here: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=5836
    * The coaches are continuing to camber test classic skis. Bring your new skis or old ones if your weight has changed by more than 3 kg over last winter.
    * Your Training Peaks is filled in. Check out the Moraine Lake ski condition on skierbob.ca and go for a ski during the long weekend if you can. There is a bit of snow on the road now and some people have skied. Ski for about 2 hours if you go to make it worthwhile.
    * Always bring your running shoes to every session in case we change the training mode.
    * A head lamp in your water belt is essential for each training session.
    * Wear a tuque if it is -5 degrees or colder, or raining, or snowing. In case you forget, we have a collection of tuques set aside for you
    * LC1 Lake Louise camp is Nov 21-23. More details via email next week

Tuesday (11): LC1 & LC2. We will skate ski on FT and do strength in the gym. No need for rock skis on FT and a fresh layer of Swix LF4 would make your ski more enjoyable. We will also do strength in the gym. Meet at team room 3:00-4:45

Wednesday (12): LC1 & LC2 Intensity in classic on FT. Clean your skis very well from the klister and put a base wax + purple multigrade on top. 4:45-6:10pm. YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED A HEAD LAMP WITH GOOD BATTERIES. Bring some food and a change of clothes for the Beckie Scott / Rhonda Delong presentation 6:30-7:45pm

    Thursday (13): LC1 & LC2. Z1 classic ski + strength in gym. HEAD LAMP. 4:30-6:30pm.
