    Hello TTs,

Thank you all for a fantastic camp up in Lake Louise.  Lots of great training and team building.  You should be tired on Monday, it was a training camp.  You build fitness by stressing your body with training, then recovering to let it grow back stronger.  Enjoy some good rest, and solid sleeps in your own bed.  Below are the times from our Sunday Time Trial.  Be sure to have a look at your laps to think about your pacing throughout the challenging soft track loop we were skiing.

At all after school sessions, you are required to have a headlamp.  We travel over 30 km/hr on downhills and it is necessary for your safety to see. Also for others’ safety to see you.  If an athlete does not have a headlamp, they will not be allowed to leave the lit area around the Biathlon Range- XC Stadium while the team will continue on with the planned session.

Training this week, but could change based on weather and track conditions.  Be sure to check back Tuesday before training:

Monday(15)– No team training, Rest and recover from a great camp

    Tuesday(16) Skate Ski @ CNC

5:00-6:30 Skate skiing around CNC with some speed and games.

    Thursday(18) Biathlon @ CNC

    4:45-6:15 Biathlon Training

Saturday(20) Calforex Cup #1 or Classic Ski and Run @ CNC

The first Biathlon Race of the year is this weekend.  Details to be shared by Kerstin/Rachel.  /forums/topic/calforex-cup-1-times-and-details/

12:30-2:30 For those not racing in the Biathlon Race, Classic ski and a distance run.  Meet at the teamroom. Matt will be out of town for a coaching course, but you will have Evan and Morgan to lead a great session. Wax Recommendation: Rode Violet Kick Wax.

When in doubt, you can follow the waxing guide here: /tools/kickwax-guide/
