AB Cup week – exciting! You are super fit and very well prepared; take good care of yourself this week.

Tuesday (26): 4:45-6:45pm. Skate sprint training + some mobility & core strength. Bring a head lamp and some food to ingest before heading into the second part of workout. You don’t want your blood sugar to drop through a long workout. This is especially important for the biathletes. Also bring your heart rate monitor and headlamp.
Wednesday (27): 4:30-5:45pm. (LCs only) Classic ski with some technique in herringbone and diagonal striding. You will mostly likely need a base klister. Again, bring a head lamp. Deadline tonight to sign up for AB Cup race on zone4.
Thursday (28): No group training today. Check TP. Early bird deadline tonight to sign-up for Sovereign Lake races on zone4.
Friday (29): 1:00-2:30pm. We will do a pre race-day preparation in skating. Test skis, ski courses, talk strategy. It will be possible to glide wax your skis with club wax at the end of the workout.
Sat/Sun: AB Cup races. Skate sprints on Sat & Classic interval starts on Sun. We will circulate an email with glide wax recommendation sometime on Friday. We will update this post on Friday evening after the coaches meeting (check around 8:15pm).
Please note that we will need your classic skis for Sundays race all glide waxed and in the team room on Saturday afternoon. It will be a busy kick waxing day for coaches and wax techs on Sunday and we need to get started early that morning.
