Hello U14’s
Great work to our biathlon crew on competing this weekend, well done to all! Nice work to those on the long run too!
Some quick notes: The AB Cup 1-2 is coming up soon on Dec 9-10. Be sure to register before Sunday Dec. 5 Here. I was also made aware that you can watch FIS World Cup for free on Youtube this year, if you’ve got some time and want to watch the excitement you can watch Here!
Here’s our plan for the week:
Monday(27) Classic Ski @ CNC.
5:00-6:30. Meet in the stadium, we’ll get up to some sprint action and some work on our striding.Wax Recommendation: Rode Violet / Violet Multigrade
Tuesday(28) Skate Ski @ CNC.
5:00-6:30. Meet at the flags.Thursday(30) Biathlon @ CNC.
4:45-6:15. We’re going to be working a bit more range entry, with some breathing mixed in too.Just as last week, there will be a separate post in the U14 forum for Calforex specific details later this week. Please wax your skis before Thursday’s practice, and leave them in the team room after practice.
Wax recommendation: CH/HS/PS6.
Saturday(2) (XC)
No practice. We are spread far and wide this Saturday with races in Sovereign Lake and Calforex Cup 2 here at home, so we will be cancelling practice. If you are in town, come for a ski at the nordic centre and watch some of the races!
