Yes hello team, first races of the year are coming up this week. Yahoo…… You should feel positive about those as you have prepared very well this fall….
Details for the weekend races (arrival times, race info etc.) will be posted on the forum Friday night. Same thing for the start list (zone4). Please check back on the forum later.
You need to register for the AB Cups before Tuesday at 11pm. Registering on the CNSC spreadsheet doesn’t get you in the race. https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=2375&lan=1&cartlevel=1
Tuesday (29): Team room, 1630-1830. Z1 classic with sprints, then gym strength. Remember the deadline to register is tonight!
Wednesday (30): On your own, check TP.
Thursday (1): Team room, 1630-1900. skate ski Z3 & 4 on race course. This will be followed by a presentation by Beckie Scott and Rhonda DeLong on mental preparation techniques for racing. Lots of stories will be shared… Presentation is from 1800 to 1900.
Friday (2): Team room, 1330-1500. Classic race prep on race courses (1hr) followed by glide waxing your skis for the weekend races.
Saturday and Sunday: AB Cups. Skate sprints and classic individual. Race notice is posted on our website.
