    Hello TTs,

Hopefully everyone received the email from the club noting we received approval from AHS to continue outdoor team training. It is very important to follow the enhanced protocols otherwise we may not be allowed to continue team training. Key Items:
    – Continue daily health screening.
    – Only attend training if you are 100% healthy and have not had contact with any COVID cases.
    – We must maintain our 2M distancing at all times. We will be watched by the public. If athletes can not maintain distance, they will be sent home.
    – No Carpooling to sessions
    – Bring a 3 layer mask to training to wear when the coaches give instructions at the start of the session. You can keep your mask in your pocket for training.
    – Groups must be smaller than 10 (including coaches/helpers) while training. The new PODS are:

For our Saturday session to run the full 2hr, we will need parents to lead a POD (with direction from the coaches). When we are on the snow, parents will take a pod for a distance lap while coaches work on specific skills. Then the pods will switch. If you are able and comfortable, please sign up here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VM2I3JiCOm4wEsQenW5SE4k_-nSiAsIEwNqvLsixZFA/edit?usp=sharing

It is still dark, so bring your headlamp. If not, you will have to ski laps around the biathlon stadium.

It took a little while, but as requested by a number of athletes the club has made some SWAG for you to wear outside of training. Check it out here: /products/

    Plan for the week:

    Tuesday (1) Biathlon @ CNC
    POD BIA 4:45-6:15

Wednesday (2) Classic Ski @ CNC
POD 8 5:00-6:15 -> Start with Matt beside the teamroom
POD 9 5:00-6:15 -> Start with Evan in front of the teamroom
POD 6 6:15-7:30 -> Start with Evan in front of the teamroom
POD 7 6:15-7:30 -> Start with Matt beside the teamroom
Wax your skis with Universal Klister. We will work on striding and double poling tonight.

Saturday(5) Run and Skate Ski @ CNC
POD 6 12:30-2:30 Run then skate ski with Matt
POD 7 12:30-2:30 Run then skate ski with a parent
POD 8 12:30-2:30 Skate ski then run with Evan
POD 9 12:30-2:30 Skate ski then run with a parent
We will introduce some more mobility activities to help get you primed for skiing, great tools for your warm up. Also a bit of strength training then speed work on skis.
