Congratulations to all the kids who participated in the biathlon race this weekend. It looked like you were all having a great time.

This is a big week for our fabulous group with AB Cup 1 & 2 and Alberta Winter Games trials on Saturday. Remember our focus is to have a fast FUN start to our race season. As this is possibly the first race for many of our athletes please ask other LT1, LT2 and other members if you have questions and as always feel free to ask me.

Monday November 30th: Skate
We will be skiing the course, working on speed and running a mock kings court style race.

Thursday December 3rd: Classic
Skiing the course and working on our starts. Wax grip zones with rode multigrade violet

Saturday December 5th:
Classic Individual Start Race. Pee Wee, Mini Midget/Bantam 2km
Check the forum for race updates Friday night after the team captain’s meeting at 8pm.

AWG trial please see additional race details in email. Skis will need to be at the team room by 9 am to be waxed by our wax tech’s. Please ensure they arrive glide waxed, scraped and brushed with clear marked kick zones. Skis should have 0.1 and 0.3 markings on them. Be sure each ski has athlete’s name and category on the ski.

Sunday December 6th: No need to being skis to team room early. Gilde wax with recommended wax, scrape and brush.
Skate race mass start. Pee Wee 2km; Mini Midget/Bantam 2.5km
