The week is upon us already.. It’s time for Lake Louise Camp! I hope you’re as excited as I am!

We’re going to be keeping an eye on the weather for our camp schedule, we may have to modify our activities. Expect communications via email from Caitlin for updates.

Housekeeping
Daylight savings has occurred, which means headlamp season is upon us! You need to have a headlamp at each practice. Sunset is 15 minutes after our practice start, and the back trails of frozen thunder are not lit. This is for your safety. Keep it in your water belt, your bag, anywhere you remember to look before practice for the remainder of the season.

Here’s what our week, and a bit of next week are looking like:

Monday (4) @ Canmore Nordic Centre
5:00-6:30. Skate Ski. Meet at the track start.

Pack your headlamp.

Tuesday (5) @ Canmore Nordic Centre
5:00-6:30. Classic / Run Combo. Meet at the track start.

Bring your running shoes for outside the room. Hope you left your klister on from Saturday… very likely a universal klister but check Monday night for wax update. Pack your headlamp.

Wax Recommendation: Rode Violet should do the trick, if you still have Klister on from Saturday rode violet right on top of the leftover Klister would give you a nice base. 

Thursday (7) Biathlon
4:45-6:15. Biathlon.

Finally! We’re back! Oh and, Pack your headlamp.

Mark your calendars as well, to make up for some of our missing sessions- on Sat. Nov. 23, 10:30-12:00 we will have an additional U14 biathlon session.
