    Hello TTs,

November has arrived, as well have shorter days. Now (until March) will be headlamp season.  Please wear your headlamp at each after school training session as it keeps you safe in 2 ways- seeing where you are going so you don’t run into something, and so others can see you and not collide with you. Once the regular lit loop is up, we will ski on that a bit more, but there are so many fantastic trails at the nordic centre, we will often venue out into the darkness.  So simply put, always bring your headlamp.

Lake Louise Camp is set to go this weekend!  The snow is thin, but more is in the forecast.  I will send out a final update on Thursday with last minute details for the weekend.

Club hoodies can be ordered. Deadline to order is November 10th: CANMORE NORDIC SHOP

    Training this week:

    Monday(8) Run/games @ CNC

5:00-6:30 We will do a mix of distance running and games tonight.  The Track Attackers are having their first night on Frozen Thunder, so we will give them all the space possible on the track.  Don’t forget your headlamp.

Tuesday(9) Classic ski (and possible run) @ CNC

5:00-6:30 We have done lots of ski striding and classic rollerskiing, so tonight is the night to get our stride on.  There is a classic race planned on Frozen Thunder today, so we will take advantage of the multiple tracks.  As noted earlier, it is can be tricky with re-frezing, so be sure to bring your running shoes as we may run for part of the session.

Wax recommendation: Swix (or other brand) Universal Klister with 3 dots of Rode Rosa (or other red/warm brand) mixed in.  How to video here: Wax videos HERE

    Thursday(11) Biathlon @ CNC

    4:45-6:15 Biathlon training

Friday(12)-Sunday(14) Lake Louise Camp- See email for details
