    • It will be dark at workouts now. Always bring a headlamp with a fresh charge. We will continue skiing on FT (assuming the snow lasts), but it’s dangerous without any lights on that trail, please bring a headlamp in order to continue skiing when it gets dark after 5:30pm.
    • In order to take advantage of the light, we will not have a warm up OYO period anymore for after school workouts. Please arrive on time and we will get the workout going right away.
    • The schedule for this week will get finalized on Monday. I am waiting to see the most recent forecast!
    • You can reserve a club hoody on our online shop. Deadline to order is November 10th: CANMORE NORDIC SHOP

    MONDAY (8)

6:00-7:00 – Kaisa, Tobias, Tabby, Bjorn, Ben B, Felix, Callum

    Multi-Primo-Supremo

Nordic Canada Time Trial (CL) in the morning if you can swing it. Older LC’s

445-615: Classic ski on FT. Meet at the groomer at 445. Follow the Wax Guide recommendation.

    Wednesday (10)
    Multi-Primo-Supremo

Nordic Canada Time Trial (SK) in the morning if you can swing it. Older LC’s

445-615: Skate ski on FT, intensity. Meet at the groomer at 445.

    Thursday (11)
    Primo-Supremo

9am-12pm. Classic ski at Lake Louise. Meet at the start of the ski trail on Moraine Lake Road at 9am. There not tons of snow so don’t use good skis. Wax using the guide. Natural new snow there.

    Saturday (13)
    Multi-Primo-Supremo

Most weather forecast show that it will be warm everywhere in the Bow Valley the next few days (WN always predicts colder than actual!). I’m nervous that the thin base at Lake Louise will disappear or ice up. We will stay in Canmore today and do laps of the Frozen Thunder in skating followed by a run. It’s no longer frozen thunder season, no bibs necessary (return it in the next few days at Nordic Canada).

Arrive at 9am, ski for 15min and meet at the groomer. We will ski for about 1.75hrs, then run. Workout ends at 11:15am
