CNSC is offering free waxing clinics for parents of young athletes and to athletes in the older programs. Read through this article for more details including how to sign up.
– For parents in TRACK ATTACK / T1 / T2 / T3 / LC / PC programs.
– For athletes in the T3 programs and older (sign up for the Nov 29th session)
Basic Wax Clinic:
This session will introduce participants to basic race preparation for skate and classic skis for trails at the Canmore Nordic Centre. As such, the session will focus on ski preparation for cold abrasive snow conditions common with artificial snow.

Intermediate Wax Clinic:
This session will introduce participants to race ski selection and ski preparation for Alberta Cups, Westerns, and Nationals. As such, the session will focus on general principles for choosing and preparing race skis for new snow, old snow, and artificial snow conditions.
Thursday, November 25, 5:00-6:30pm, CNSC team room
Monday, November 29, 5:00-6:30pm, CNSC team room (this clinic is mostly for T3 athletes and older unless you really can’t make the Nov 25th session)
Note: Parents that have followed a wax clinic last year could move up to the intermediate level, or just redo the basic clinic as a refresher.
