    Hello Biathletes,

    Please fill out your races.

Hope you had a happy turkey day!

    Reminders from Matt:
Thank you to those of you who dropped off your scraped, brushed, and clean skis for flex testing with your weight taped to it. For the rest of you, please bring them. It is good to get that all squared away before the ski swap, and well before the first race.

Welcome to intensity week! This week we are packing in 3 days of intensity to help prepare you for the typical race weekend that you will have over the winter. This means your intensity is high but hours are low. Don’t be afraid to push hard on the intensity, and go easy on the long days to make sure you are getting the training effect we are looking for.

Monday(10) – No team training – see training peaks for individual workouts.

Tuesday(11) 4:30-6:00 Uphill Monitoring Run. This is our last planned uphill run of the year, so come on out and really lay it on the line. Meet at the teamroom

Wednesday(12) 4:30-6:30 Classic Rollerski. Meet at Travel Alberta

Thursday(13) 4:30-6:30 Running with Shooting Combo and then to Strength.

Saturday(15) 9:00-10:30 Running with Shooting Combo Intensity. If you qualified for provincials, absolutely go to that and have a good race.

Sunday(16) Confederation Park Relays. Meet at Confederation Park in Calgary at 10:30 to finalize your registration. Bring $6 cash for your race fee, a bowl & spoon for soup, and a dessert to add to the pot luck after the race. Race start is at NOON. You will most likely get wet feet, so be sure to bring a change of shoes. As always, have a change of clothes for after the race.
