Heads up: Lots of additional stuff going on this week.
Double workouts, Halloween Family Hike and CCC race dayI managed to flex test and mark wax pockets for all the skis that were dropped off last week. I can fit one more night in this week so if you have not had your wax pocket marked yet please drop off your spotless clean classic skis on Monday between 4:30 and 6:30. Place them in the rack in the back room marked “to be tested”.
CNSC Inter-club pre-swap starts Monday 24th goes to Thursday 27th Only good quality nordic gear to be entered. All equipment should be clearly labeled with name of owner, asking price and for skis, who they are suitable for weight wise.
Monday October 24
LT2 Kids born in 2004 and 2005 you will be joining the TT group for a workout.
Meet Allison and her guest coaches at 5:00 at the team room. Make sure you have your striding poles, drink belt and dress in layers. You will be finished at 6:30, time to grab some food and head to the gymnastics club for your 7:30 regular gymnastics class.LT1 kids born in 2006
Regular practice at 7:30 at the gymnastics club. Don’t forget your water bottles.Thursday October 27 5:30-7:00
Halloween Family Hike. This workout is for all ITA and TA kids, families and pets who wear costumes. We will dress up in our halloween gear and meet at the Heart Creek Day Use Area. Be sure to bring your headlamps as we will start this workout a bit later and spend some time in the dark.Saturday 29th 2-3:30pm: skate ski on Frozen Thunder
As part of the CCC Frozen Thunder festival ITA and TA will take part in a super fun skate ski race with National Ski Team members. Please meet in the biathlon range at 2:25pm with your skate skis and poles, dressed and ready to ski, with a touch of retro ski gear to add to the fun! NO pass is required for the event. Following the ski activities there will be a bbq and presentation of the National Ski Team. Please sign up online so we know how many of you are coming:
