    Hello TTs,

Great work this past week dressing for the weather and being on time & prepared for training! Keep it up.

Once skis have been flex tested, they will be placed in a rack in the front room with a note in masking tape on the ski. It will say if the ski is a good fit, or if they are too soft/ too stiff and the ideal skier weight for that ski. For the classic skis, if they are a good fit, we will mark the kick zones.

The October overview is coming soon, but we are waiting to confirm some final practice dates in the second half of the month.

On October 21 we will all be racing in the annual Confederation Relay down in Calgary. More info about the event here: https://www.gumbot.ca/ This will be the training session for the weekend. It would be great for everyone to partake in the event.
Please sign up here by Wednesday OCT 3rd, and we will make Canmore Nordic Teams: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18hQk618b66Pr94r4cRY0qcjY_gpxjucb9x9GIZkW_3c/edit?usp=sharing

    Training for this week:

    Monday 1st 5:00-6:30 @ LGMS
A running tour of the parks in town with strength surprises. Wear your running shoes and get ready to get pumped up.

    Tuesday 2nd @ CNC – Biathlon Practice. T2s 4:45-6:15; T1s 6:30-8:00  We are a go, see email for details.

    Wednesday 3rd @ CNC
With all this new snow we just have go get out and enjoy it. Meet at the teamroom with your older skis (ideally classic, but whatever you can round up) and get ready for a little adventure then wrapping up with a game. There is quite a bit of snow and odds are slim you will scratch your bases, but don’t take out a brand new pair of skis. Kick wax recommendation is Rodi Violet.

We know that not everyone has organized equipment yet as many have grown. If you can’t barrow a pair of skis for the evening, come with your running shoes and ski striding poles. We can make 2 groups to still get everyone out and rip around in the snow.

All skis that have been dropped off at the teamroom for flex testing are done and in the front room.

October 6th and 8th there will be no team training due to the holiday weekend. Enjoy your thanksgiving.
