Hello Team –
I hope you had a good long weekend. Please read an important note now regarding the Sunday workout (you must register). Here’s the plan for this week:
Tuesday (12): Team room, 4:30-6:30pm. Z1 + strength on skis (RS-CL) + strength in the gym
Wednesday (13): 4:30-6:00pm. Z1-4 ski striding on sprint course! 6:00pm is a athlete/parent meeting! Hope everyone can make it… we’ll even be covering the race calendar.
Thursday (14): 4:30-6:15pm, Elizabeth Rummell soccer field for some speed, agility and endurance….
Saturday (16): Either race at the xc provincials or a very easy day of training on your own. Example: 30min easy Z1 run.
Sunday (17): Roddy will circulate scheduling details about this workout later this week. Distance Classic ski on 1A from Johnson Canyon (or somewhere around there). We’ll ski back to Banff, hit the new bike trail, join to Vermilion lakes road and ski up to the Juniper Inn. Once there we will have a team lunch/brunch!! 😀 You must bring $20 for lunch. Parents are invited to join for lunch/brunch. We are getting a great deal from the Juniper! Food will be excellent. Expect some photo’s to be taken of you all. Roddy will send more details about Sundays workout mid next week (starting point, time, shuttling etc.). This is the most important workout of the week, don’t miss out.
