Happy Thanks Giving ❗
I hope everyone enjoyed some quality family time over the weekend and also started thinking about getting out their ski gear to see if it all still fits.
Monday 10th: NO TEAM TRAINING – THANKS GIVING
Wednesday 12th: 5 – 6:30pm @ Quarry Lake
Ski striding using the great trail network in the Quarry Lake. We’ll be working on maintaining good body position when going a little faster striding and bounding. Check the weather and make sure you have a few layers to take off/put on but that you can carry while running. Drink belts and striding poles essential.
Saturday 17th: 10am – 12:00/13:00 @ Bow Valley Provincial Park
This session will be a great opportunity to make connections with our friends at Foothills Nordic S.C as we’re getting together for a skate rollerski workout. The session will be a team sprint or relay so will involve testing your speed and practice ‘givin er’ while keeping your technique together! 😛 There will be additional activities after the rollerski if people would like to stay and continue to have some fun with the Foothills gang. This will involve some games so maybe throw in a pair of sneakers and a bagged lunch.
