PRE-SWAP AND SWAP:
We will do the pre-swap sale at the team room this Wednesday and Thursday. It would be great if you could bring the race skis that don’t fit you anymore so that they are passed down to other athletes in the club. As you know, it is hard to find good race skis for young athletes. Bring your equipment to the team room on Wed (15) and Thu (16) during the workout so that athletes can take a look at them. Write your name, phone number and price. You can also bring boots and poles if you want. The actual club swap is on Sunday this week (consignment on Saturday). Details on our home page.RACE SCHEDULE:

Stay tune for a meeting time but most likely on Friday (17) or Saturday (18).
Tuesday (14): We are challenging you to rollerski a fair ways! The challenge is for 2000 born athletes to ski 30km, 1999’s -> 40km and 1997-98 -> 50km. I bet you can do that!
We will start this workout from CCHS (meet at bike racks) at 3:50pm. Have a large snack right after your last class and get yourself ready. We will have you change equipment about halfway into it. You will start in classic. Have your equipment delivered for 3:30pm or drop them off to a friend of coach during the long weekend.
We will ski on the Legacy trail and finish back at CCHS. The workout will finish when you are done with the distance or 7:15pm (we will pick you up on the trail if you are not done by 7:00pm). We will have a quick pizza and chocolate milk at the finish. Bring dry clothes to change into.
Wednesday (15): Meet at Elizabeth Rummel school for some running and ski striding. We will do a bit of intensity. A special appearance by Amanda Ammar. 4:30-6:15pm
Thursday (16): RS-CL + strength in gym. Meet at team room. 4:30-6:30pm.
Saturday (18): Cross Country running provincials or a TT in Canmore. We’re going to do a RS-CL time trial and a skate ski on Frozen Thunder. Meet at the team room and be ready to roll at 9:30am (arrive 15min if your poles need sharpening) and bring your gear for classic and skating including some food and water. We will be done around 11:30am.
