    A bit of housekeeping:

    1) Licences. You need to renew your CCC licence here: http://www.cccski.com/Events/License-Applications.aspx
Club official is Meghan Bryant. My nccp #: 148789, Level 4.  Matt: NCCP#: 5684433 NCCP Level: CCD-L2C
For those of you racing in the US, you need a FIS licence. It’s $65 before Nov 1st, $90 after. http://www.cccski.com/Events/License-Applications.aspx

    2) Please start filling in your races for this winter here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-iwvXKnzDyoLd2Xe2hHOxOuYiugBCXU5fpQg-IbYAzs/edit?usp=sharing

    3) We will start skiing on Frozen Thunder on Saturday (19th). We will ski on average 2-3 times per week (at least once on weekends). You need to get either a Frozen Thunder season pass or a day pass when you ski on weekends.

    4) It’s the ski swap on Oct 19-20. Please bring all your equipment that does not fit. The consignment is just as important as the ski swap itself. It’s a significant fundraiser for our club and also a place where athletes/families can find gear at a reasonable price! Pass the word to your neighbors!

    Training this week:

Monday (14): No team training, check your TP

    Tuesday (15): LC/LC+: 1645-1815. RS-SK with sprints

Wednesday (16): No session today due to XC running zones. If you are not running zones, have your own Canmore running challenge after school. Warm up for 20min in Z2, 4 X 2min at hard Z6 pace (ideally with hills), rest 3min in-between. Cool down for 10min

Thursday (17): LC/LC+. 1645-1845. Run outside + strength in gym – CRITICAL: bring clean shoes to avoid our group from getting a 1 week ban from the gym.

Saturday (19): LC/LC+. Skate ski on Frozen Thunder followed by a run. You need either a Frozen Thunder DAY PASS ($11.25 for junior) or a FT SEASON PASS ($67.50 for junior). There are also FT family passes available ($150). Note that this is different than a REGULAR SEASON PASS (those can be used starting Nov 16th). The kiosk opens at 9am to purchase a pass. If you choose the FT season pass, purchase the day before as you need to fill in paperwork, photo, etc…

We will meet in the team room at 9:15am (with your pass!), ski for 1:30-1:45 then run on the trails. We will be done at 12:15pm. We will supply you with a bib to ski since those are needed for all people using the trails 7am-noon, 7 days a week.

You become a good team when you start enjoying what others are doing.
