Phew! That was a big and exciting overnight camp. The kids were troopers and worked hard throughout the camp. The LT1 and LT2’s are really picking up on the roller skiing. Their technique is improving and we will continue to work on this. I was super impressed with the LT2’s ability to hop on the classic skis and push themselves hard during that workout.
Our incredible ITA’s continue to impress me with their desire to push themselves and “keep up”. These guys are fast and furious, watch out!!

Meet the National Cross Country and Biathlon Teams and Pizza Party: 11:30-1:00 pm. Outdoors in front of the Canmore Civic Center.
Chance hear the stories and to meet the Canadian Cross Country and Biathlon Team. World Champions, World Cup medalists and Olympic Medallist present.

**We would like for as many TA’s to be involved as possible. Your job is to wear your team jacket,bring your poles and make a pole arch for the athletes to walk through. We will also choose a team intention and one of you will present to the skiers, along with a signed Canadian Flag. You will also have a chance to ask skiers questions to learn more about their journey and goals for the season. If your class is not attending you will need to provide a written letter of permission from your parent/s to give to your school.Thursday Oct 22
If the weather is still looking good we will go with another mountain bike workout. The goal of this workout will be to get some miles under our legs on the double track trails. This workout will be “technically easy”, cardio difficult and 100 percent fun!Ski Swap
October 24 consignment at Bill Warren Center. Remember to purchase your early bird tickets.
October 25 even though you have early bird tickets you are still required to line up and it is a bit crazy. Arrive early to avoid disapointment -
