The excitement just keeps on coming this week ❗ ❗

This week is pre-swap week. If you have gear to be tested or you have good quality skis, poles or boots that you want to sell to a Club member please drop your gear off with your name, phone number and how much you would like for the item to the Team Room. Pre-swap will run from Monday to Thursday night. You can try things in the Team Room and ask coaches for advice but you can’t take anything home to try it out/on.

    Monday 19th: 5 – 6:30pm meet @ LGMS
We’ll meet at Centennial then run over to “Flintstones park”, on other side of Bow River along path to Three Sisters, for some playground tag, ‘rock run’ and circuit strength. Please bring a drink belt and a few layers to put on and take off. *Please try to snack BEFORE coming to the workout so you don’t need to eat during the workout. It’s not ideal to be chewing while running or doing other activities.

Wednesday 21st: 4:30 – 5:30pm meet @ OLS ** Note earlier start time and shorter session.
Life is full of choices and tonight you’ll get to choose whether you want to head out for a mountain bike ride or go for a run. We are starting at OLS and heading out on the Quebecican – mtn bikers, and other trails. Parents are welcome to join in either of the activities.

100 Days To Go World Cup Celebration
Meet the National Cross Country and Biathlon Teams and Pizza Party: 11:30-1:00 pm. Outdoors in front of the Canmore Civic Center.
Chance hear the stories and to meet the Canadian Cross Country and Biathlon Team. World Champions, World Cup medalists and Olympic Medallist present.
    Autograph signing.
    Free Pizza.
**We would like for as many T2T’s to be involved as possible. Your job is to wear your team jacket and make a pole arch for the athletes to walk through. We will also develop a team intention on Monday night at the workout that one of you will present to the skiers, along with a signed Canadian Flag. You will also have a chance to ask skiers questions to learn more about their journey and goals for the season. If your class is not attending you will need to provide a written letter of permission from your parent/s to give to your school.

Saturday 24th: 9 am – 12 noon Lady Mac hike
Unfortunately we couldn’t quite line things up with our friends in Bragg Creek so we have decided to stay local and hike Lady Mac with poles. Meet at the Elk Run Blvd parking lot next to Cougar Creek at 8:55am for a 9am departure. The weather reports are for clear but cold temperatures so please bring a small pack with snacks, water and a variety of layers including gloves and a toque! Parents welcome.

**Please note today is Ski Swap Consignment Day (9am – 12noon @ BWTC) so if you have gear that you want to put in for the swap ensure you organise someone else to put it in for you if you want to join us for the work out. 😛

Sunday 25th: Ski Swap @ BWTC.
9am Early Bird entry (purchase at Consignment)
    10am Open to all.

Courage is being scared to death…. and saddling up anyway.
