Coming at you the next few weeks is a bit more intensity than usual. Really focus on getting some good rest and good quality warm ups for the race days. Looking ahead to Sunday, Oct 15th we’re headed back to Calgary to take on the Confederations Park relays! You need to sign up on the doodle by Wednesday 4th Oct if you want to be in a team. See info below:
3 x 4km relay around Confederations Park, meet at 11am. The Club will make and enter the teams of the athletes, parents/families are welcome to enter their own teams (email Allison if you want an entry form). $6 per student runner, all runners must sign up on the Doodle by Wednesday 4th Oct:

Be sure you have registered for XC Running Zones on October 11th with your PE Teacher.
Training this week:
Monday(2) 6:30-7:45 Strength. Meet at the BWTC
Tuesday(3) 4:30-6:00 Threshold Test. Meet at LGMS track. Heart rate monitors are a must for us to calculate your zones.
Wednesday(4) 4:30-6:00 Classic Rollerski intensity. Meet at the entrance to the cemetery. We need 2-3 parents with mini vans to shuttle athletes down Silver Tip hill. Please let Alain know if you can help out.
Thursday(5) 4:30-6:30 Run and Strength. Meet at the Teamroom.
