    Hello TTs,

Frozen Thunder is rolled out, and skiing has begun! We are very fortunate to have this opportunity to ski over 1 month eariler than everyone else in the country, but it can make for a lot of skiing. So we will utilize frozen thunder now while it is in good shape, but then back off a little bit from skiing on it in November to keep you fresh.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to fill out our Racing Spreadsheet. Some are still missing entries though, so please have a check if you have not filled it in. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-iwvXKnzDyoLd2Xe2hHOxOuYiugBCXU5fpQg-IbYAzs/edit#gid=0

    Training this week:

    Monday(21) 5:00-6:30 @ CNC
Skate Ski on Frozen Thunder! The track is in great shape, so any skis are good. Be sure to have your winter baskets on your ski poles if you changed them to rollerski tips for the summer.

    Tuesday(22) 5:00-6:45 @ CNC
Skate Ski combo on Frozen Thunder! The track is in great shape, so any skis are good. Be sure to have your winter baskets on your ski poles if you changed them to rollerski tips for the summer. For shooting we will be working on position & range procedure with skis on.

    Wednesday(23) 5:00-6:30 @ CNC
The last UMR of the season. Come with a personal goal in mind for the session (ie: improve my time by 5 seconds). Be sure to finish your afternoon snack by 3:30 so you don’t get a cramp while you are running hard.

Well done out there on Wednesday, Lots of New PBs and goals achieved!

    Saturday(26) 12:30-2:30 @ CNC
Skate ski on Frozen Thunder and Runing speed/games. Given the forecast, it will be VERY challenging waxing conditions (not ideal for the first classic ski of the year or a wax clinic). We will do our wax clinic at a later date.

If you have a younger sibling in Track Attack, a hike up Sulphur Mountain is a great workout as well. Just be sure to let Leslie know your number of people.
