What a week! Extra STUR day, Frozen Thunder rollout, & so awesome to see everyone out on Saturday!! If you were at the STUR, take a look at the bottom for your times too.
Housekeeping
Keep on handing in your skis for ski testing! We’ve got a good collection so far to start handing back. At the start or end of practice, we will have a ski holder just inside the team room for skis that have been completed that you can grab n’ go.
Don’t Forget: Please scrape, and clean your skis with glide/kick cleaner before handing them in if possible. This helps us run through them all nice and fast!

Strides & Glides is this Thursday! Register HERE. If you’re not up for the race… consider lending a hand volunteering (Athletes too!) Sign up HERE.
Monday (21) @ Canmore Nordic Centre
4:45-6:15. Skate Ski & Agility Run/Games. Meet at the track start.
Today will look similar to Saturday, just a little shorter. Quick 45min on our skis, and 45min running. We’re going to keep with our agility training with some relay action too. Leave your shoes outside the team room.
Tuesday (15) @ Canmore Nordic Centre
5:00-6:30. Skate Ski. Meet at the track start.
Frozen Thunder for the whole session! Time to start getting a bit more into our skate technique.
Thursday (24) Biathlon
4:45-5:45. Biathlon.
Biathlon looks a little shorter again today this week unfortunately, as we need to clear the range space by 6:00 for Strides & Glides. It might take a bit more time to get ready than before now that we have skis on.. so make sure to come with enough time!
Thanks all for coming to our shorter sessions last week. All of you got some really quality work done in just those small time windows. When we’re shooting this week, think back to what you talked about with either myself or Kerstin, and keep that image of the green line pulling straight up to the target!

1:00-3:00. Trail Run on Montane Traverse. Meet at the Cougar Creek parking lot. Bring water and a snack.
