A light week this week after a great week of training and a training camp.

Monday 5th: NO TEAM TRAINING. Rest after Nipika camp. This is an opportunity to take a rest and restore your energy levels by having some down time after school on Monday!

    Wednesday 7th: 5 – 6:30pm @CNC
Special guest coaches Para-Nordic athletes Mark Arendz will be joining us to share his experiences as a World Cup and Paralympic athlete and also put us through a range of activities to test our balance and agility! Meet at the Team Room at 5pm with a and drink belt. ❗ ❗ T2’s who borrowed rollerskis for the Nipika camp need to return them to the Team Room tonight!

    Parent information session: 6:30 – 7:30pm @ BWTC
This session will cover the program philosophy, training camps, race schedule and will be an opportunity to ask any questions you have about the program. It would be great to have at least one parent of each skier present.

    RACE SUIT ORDER NIGHT
    Thursday 8th: 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m @ BWTC

We will have sample sizes for you to try on. There will only be one race suit order this year and a minimum order must be made. We will cash your cheque only if we are able to make the minimum order but we do not expect the minimum order to be a problem. The pricing depends on actual numbers ordered but will be about $150-165 + gst and shipping. Please bring a cheque payable to CNSC.

Sandy Mergler is coordinating race suits orders. Race suits take about 6-8 weeks for delivery. Please contact Sandy by email (smergler@shaw.ca) to arrange your order if you are unable to make the order night.

Saturday 10th and Monday 12th: NO TEAM TRAINING – THANKS GIVING WEEKEND.

Check the October overview for important dates and training adventures coming up.

Sometimes the reason good things are not happening to you is because you are the good thing that needs to happen to other people!
