Hello All!

This is the last full week of Track Attack for the season. We will skate on Monday night, and then on Thursday evening we will have a fun Skiathlon race, so your children will need both their classic and skate equipment. They will need one pair of boots for both the skate and classic as they will be switching skis 3 times. For this event they will start classic, do a small loop, then switch to skate, do a small loop, then switch back to classic, and then switch back one final time to skate. If your child has two different binding systems for classic and skate please let me know Monday and we will get them some different skis or boots depending. This is a fun race, and we will be giving the 1st year TA’ers a 2 min lead over the 2nd year TA’ers, and then another 2 min for the 3rd year skiers. Everyone is welcome to come watch, and the race will take place in the stadium area.

I will send out a wax call Weds afternoon/eve-It could be klister, so in that case if you’re not comfortable applying klister we can set up coaches in the team room from 4:30-5:00 to apply wax. If this is the case for you, please have all hard wax removed from the base of the ski-Thanks!

Next week we will only be having the Thursday session which is skate technique and will be a pizza fest out at the warming hut. Meghan sent out an email with the info for that, so please check your inbox if you haven’t seen it.
