Welcome to our full track attack racing team. Great job today to those who raced. Saturday will be a one shot deal for the U10 with a mass start obstacle course. U12 will race a qualifer, and then race a King’s Court ladder sprint (3 heats). U12 and U14 skiers will be combined into a single ladder. U12 should plan to relax and eat in-between your qualification and heats. If logistically possible, heat back to your accommodation as the day lodge is wee.

The King’s Court format is a no knockout format that gives the racers plenty of opportunities to race and have fun. This format has 3 rounds with six racers per heat. Top two move up the ladder. 3 and 4 remain the same and 5 and 6 move down the ladder. Lots of opportunities to practice our starts and race our hearts out with kids the same level.

The KNC parking lot has limited parking. A free shuttle bus will run on race days (Friday, Feb 3rd to Sunday, Feb 5th) from 7AM to 4PM. This shuttle will be running continuously between the Kimberley Alpine Resort south parking lot (our designated Westerns Overflow parking lot) to the KNC trailhead. It is a 3 minute drive between these 2 parking lots.

There will be a waffle truck in the parking lot.

Team goals: Have fun, support each other and thank a volunteer.
