Hello All,
The Track Attack group will have a ski this Saturday AFTERNOON
THE PLAN IS TO SKI FROM BAKER CREEK TO CASTLE
This is a once a year opportunity, as it is only track set for the Lake Louise to Banff Loppet. But, if we go at 12:15, then the racers will be past this point and we can still enjoy the tracksetting, and an opportunity to ski a trail that is normaly not possible.LYNN HARVEY, ULLI MARTIN AND JEANIE GODFREY ARE GOING TO LEAD THE DAY.
MEET: 12:15
PLACE: CASTLE MOUNTAIN – STORE CABINS (intersection between highway 1A, bow valley Parkway, and highway 93 to Castle Mtn)PLAN: Ski – about 1.5 hours
Will need to car shuttle, as it is a point to point ski.BRING: layers of clothes, snacks, drinks. Camera – so I can see some pictures!
PLEASE ARRANGE CAR POOLING IF NECESSARY – SHOULD BE A VERY GOOD SKI.
WAXING GUESS – RODE MULTIGRADE 0 TO -2, But bring colder and warmer wax just in case.
