Senior B/G and Youth M/W Race Categories Cal Cup #1 Schedule

    Be sure to read carefully and double check you are reading the schedule for the right category.

    YOUTH MEN/WOMEN CATEGORIES

    Morning Athletes Items Checklist: Arm Cuff, Ammo, Boots, Spare Skis, Poles, Trigger Lock Key, Gloves, Sunglasses, Runners, Water, Snack

    FRIDAY
    1:00-3:00pm Race Prep – Meet on the range.
    -Bring all skis you are considering racing on with the exact same base prep (same wax or no wax) and Adam will help you select skis.
    6:30pm All race skis for all athletes need to be brought to the team room.

    SATURDAY

    8:00am Arrive at Team Room.
    8:05am Team Meeting – Start Lists, Zero Order.
    8:15am Go for a 15 minute team run and dynamic warm-up together.
    8:35am Return to team room to pick up bib, eat a final small snack if needed (Banana is best). Drink Water, use the bathroom if needed.
    8:40am Ensure rifle is prepared, begin to head out to the range depending on zero time.
    8:45am Equipment Check opens
    9:00am Range opens
    9:00-9:45am Zero – Order will be dependant on start list.
    10:00am – First Racer starts. Category Order: Men, Women, Junior Men, Junior Women, Youth Men, Youth Women Senior Boys, Senior Girls
    Race Details Youth Men: 7.5km, PS, Green x3 Sprint
    Race Details Youth Women: 6km, PS, Red x3 Sprint
    11:35am-12:00pm Quick Debrief with Rachel (Time will be dependant on last finisher)
    12:00pm – Awards presented on upper level of timing building.
    Afterwards: Go Ski Course for tomorrow as a cool down!!! Very Important!

    SUNDAY

    8:00am Arrive at Team Room
    8:05am Team Meeting – Start lists, Zero Order.
    8:15am Go for a 15 minute team run and dynamic warm-up together.
    8:35am Return to team room to pick up bib, eat a final small snack if needed (Banana is best). Drink Water, use the bathroom if needed.

    11:50am-12:20pm Quick Debrief with Rachel (Time will be dependant on last finisher)
    12:30pm – Awards presented on upper level of timing building.

    12:30pm Pick up and pack rifle. Make sure you have 3 clips.

    1:00-1:45pm Zero – Order dependant on Start order.
    2:00pm First Racer Starts
    Race Details Senior Girls: 6km, PS, Red x3 Sprint
    Awards after last finisher
    Go ski tomorrow’s course with Rachel as a cool down after awards.
