Hi everybody,

Here is the plan for next week:

Monday, Sept. 24 – meet at Cougar Crk parking lot (west side of Cougar Creek by the big eagle) at 5pm for a FOX HUNT.
You need water and running shoes. Note that I will be away on Monday but Alaric, Dave, and Scott plus others will be there to lead you on the super fun fox hunt.

Thursday, Sept. 27 – ski walking up Grassi Lakes.
Meet at Grassi Lakes trail parking lot. Bring some old ski poles, ideally 5cm shorter than your classic ski poles (ie. last year’s poles). We will be on foot.

Saturday, Sept. 29 –Hike up Lady Macdonald with Roy’s T1/T2 group. Parents and siblings welcome to come along.Meet at Cougar Creek parking lot at 9:00am (note change in time from original post) We will be back by 11:00am.

Come and join your TA friends for a fun weekend in Kananaskis! We will be active all weekend outside in the mountains getting fit , having fun and staying at the Ribbon Ck Hostel. This is a super fun weekend that is sure to be one of the highlights of the year.

When: October 13-14th (one night)
Who: TA kids 9am Sat- 2pm Sun , Intro kids 1:30 pm Sat – 2pm Sun,
Est. Cost: $50-60/ participant (depending on numbers)

Parent helpers required: 2 -3 (depending on number of kids). Parent helpers are involved in cooking meals (with help from coaches) and organizing kids to wash dishes after meals. Extra parents are welcome for the fee above up until hostel is filled (cap. is 41)

Coaches: Rhonda plus all the regular assistant coaches

Program: Rollerskiing (TA kids only on Sat. morning), Epic animal game, team building activity, hike, A detailed program for the camp will be sent out two weeks prior to the camp.

All kids who want to attend the camp need to sign up on this doodle (this will be a common tool used to organize various events through the year). Very simple – just fill in your child’s name and click the “I will attend” box:
