    Great training at the camp. It was a great weekend. You will be tired this week – it’s normal. That’s how you get better and fitter down the road.

    Fitness happens during sleep, not during hard workouts. Workouts only create the potential for fitness. One without the other is ineffective.

    Tuesday (15):
    Multi-Primo-Supremo. Both workouts at the CNC

    Pod 2: 1700-1715-warm up running OYO then meet in xc stadium at 1715.  Ski striding technique. You will be done at 1830.
    Pod 3: 1700-1715-warm up skate RS-Sk OYO then meet in biathlon stadium at 1715. RS-SK technique focus. You will be done at 1830.

    Wednesday (16):
    Multi-Primo-Supremo

    Pod 2: 1645-1715-warm up RS-CL OYO then meet in biathlon stadium at 1715. Light intensity on RS-CL. You will be done at 1815
    Pod 3: 1645-1715-warm up RS-SK OYO then meet at top of tear drop at 1715. Light intensity on RS-SK. You will be done at 1815

    Thursday (17):
    Primo-Supremo

    Strength equipment needed: Short Physio Band, Long Physio Band, and dumbbells (similar to summer 10-20lb)

    Pod 2: 1645-1745: Strength beside team room. 1745-1845: RS-SK from team room.
    Pod 3: 1645-1745: RS-SK, meet at team room. 1745-1845: Strength beside team room.

    Saturday (19):
    Multi-Primo-Supremo

    UPDATE: The Air quality index is 161 on the EPA PM2.5 AQI (4/11 on Canadian AQI). The air quality is forecasted to get worse throughout the day to 6/11.

    We will not run the time trial today – the shooting test for biathletes is still on.

    I recommend training indoors with a spin on the bike trainer for 30min and then a core video on youtube to complete 1 hour of training.

    Clean up supplies will be provided. We will meet at 8:30 am in the lower biathlon parking lot near the CNSC Team Room.  Each family will need to sign in and then receive vests, garbage bags and gloves for their section of highway.
    PM: Skate rollerski time trial at the CNC starting at 1:30pm. 2 laps of the biathlon loop for a total of 5km. Start list to be circulated on Thu or Fri. Write your warm up in Pre-Activity comments for today on Training Peaks.
