Hello Team, great job on the latest intensity training. Just one more of these workouts before moving on to some volume work.
Please do not forget the T3/LC athlete/parent meeting this coming Thursday (19) at 6:30pm at the bwtc. We are hoping to be done at 7:30pm.
Tuesday (17): We will do a xc running time trial tonight, complete with race prep and debrief. Between 3-5km. 16:45-18:30.
Wednesday (18): LC’s only tonight. RS-CL + strength test. 1630-1800.
Thursday (19): T3’s: running, RS-SK and strength test. LC’s: RS-SK + just a bit of speed. 1630-1830. Team meeting at 1830-1930. Look for an email on Monday with the agenda.
Saturday (21): Start and finish at Alberta visitor centre on 1A. Bike to Banff (2 routes) then RS-CL back to Canmore. 900-1215. More details from Matt below.
Thank you to Ken, Michel, Wendy, Therese, Orest, and John for volunteering to shuttle gear around for the workout. We will meet at the Info Centre in Canmore (just past Tim Horton’s) at 9AM. When we have a total number of athletes/gear to transport we can determine how many vehicles need to drive.
The transition point from biking to classic rollerskiing will be on Tunnel Mountain Road, first left turn after going under the train tracks (http://goo.gl/maps/4Y0yk). We will change gear between 10:00 and 10:30. There is a pullout 300 meters down the road.
We will return to the Info Centre by 12:15.
