HOUSEKEEPING:
* We need you to commit to all out of town races by October 15th. This is to allow for the planning and bookings in the fall instead of the winter. Please go to the spreadsheet and highlight the out of town races you want to do. * 20min rule. This is a simple way to stay healthy and recover quicker. Plan that you change into a dry top and eat food within 20min of the end of your workout (the earlier the better of course!). You will need to keep that in mind when you are waiting for a ride or when we are training further afield!
* Make sure you renew your CCC licence. LC+ athletes born in 2001-02 should also get a FIS licence.
* See email sent Saturday about suit fitting days/times. Remember that we are not offering any warm up pants. Purchase a black pair that fits the best for you.
* XC running zones are October 10th. Talk to your phys ed teacher to register. The coaches are encouraging you to register so you get a chance to practice racing this fall.
* The LC+ Kimberley camp document will be send to you on Monday. Sorry for the delay!
Monday (17): 6:30-7:45 LC+ Strength in the BWTC. Start with 5 min spinning and jump into your mobility.
Tuesday (18): 4:30-6:30 LC/LC+. A run above Harvey Heights. Meet at the gravel parking lot 500 meters before arriving in Harvey Heights. The same place we have met for years.
Wednesday (19): No workouts today due to Kimberley camp.
Saturday (22): LC’s are welcome to join in the club hike in Banff. Check the TT forum for more details.
