Hello TTs,
Great first week of training. Impressive to see you all out rain or shine. Fall can bring all kinds of weather and we will very seldom cancel practice because of a little bad weather. It is good to get in the habit of checking the forum before training just in case we need to make a last minute change. Dress for the weather and be ready to get a little wet on rainy days.
As a reminder for the TT program, you will need Poles for both classic and skating and hill bounding (3 pairs). Pole height should be measured from the tip to the strap. Athlete’s height measured with boots on:
o Skate = height x 88%
o Classic = height x 83%
o Hill bounding = height x 80%.
Training this week:
Monday 18th 5:00-6:30 @ CNC
Skate Rollerski. Meet at the Teamroom. You will need: helmet, skate poles, Skate Boots, drink belt, and gloves.
Tuesday 19th 6:30-8:00 @ CNC
TT Biathlon
Wednesday 20th 5:00-6:45 @ CNC
Uphill Monitoring Run. Meet at the teamroom. Bring your running shoes, drink belt, and get ready to hammer!
Saturday 23rd 9:00-1:00 @ Hike to Rockbound Lake

Come prepared for a 4 hour hike- 2L of water, snacks, rain jacket, bear spray
