A bit of house keeping to start:
XC Running Meets:
The coaches are strongly encouraging you to run the 2 upcoming xc running meets (Sept 30th at CNC and Oct 6th in Sundre). You need to talk to your phys ed teacher about this ASAP. Hopefully it’s not too late for you to register.
Club hike:
All parents are athletes are invited to the club hike this coming Saturday. See details on a separate post.
LC1 Biathletes:
You are welcome to join in the Wednesday workouts if it makes it easier to train with the group rather than on your own on Fridays or Sundays.
Jacket and suits:
Check out a separate post on how to purchase a club jacket or race suit.
Change:
Always check the forum before leaving your house in case there was a change to the workout time or mode, especially if the weather is iffy.
Tuesday (22): We will do a running test tonight for all LC1 & LC2. We will give you the details at the workout but essentially it’s a 15min effort at race pace. Meet at LGMS track, 5:00-6:30pm
Wednesday (23): We will skate rollerski on the Legacy trail today. Meet at travel Alberta. 5:00-6:30pm
Thursday (24): We will do some ski walking/striding and strength in the gym. Meet at team room, 4:30-6:30pm
Saturday (26): Club hike. See separate posting.
