    Hello,

    Just a few reminders:
    * We need you to commit to all out of town races by October 15th. This is to allow for the planning and bookings in the fall instead of the winter. Please go to the spreadsheet and highlight the out of town races you want to do. You can wait a bit and talk to your coach as well: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-iwvXKnzDyoLd2Xe2hHOxOuYiugBCXU5fpQg-IbYAzs/edit#gid=0

    * 20min rule. This is a simple way to stay healthy and recover quicker. Plan that you change into a dry top and eat food within 20min of the end of your workout (the earlier the better of course!). It is easy to eat a snack on the drive home. You will need to keep that in mind when you are waiting for a ride or when we are training further afield!

    * Make sure you renew your CCC licence, LC+ athletes born in 2001-02 should also get a FIS licence. Link here: http://cccski.com/Events/License-Applications.aspx

    * Be sure you have contacted Kelsey if you are ordering a new race suit. Only 2 more fittings at the BWTC if you need to try on a new suit:
Monday September 24th 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Tuesday September 25th 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm

    * XC running zones are October 10th. Talk to your phys ed teacher to register. The coaches are encouraging you to register so you get a chance to practice racing this fall.

    * Tuesday, October 2nd we will be doing our threshold test to recalculate your training zones. Be sure your Heart Rate Monitor is working well so we can collect all your data.

    Training this week:
Monday(24) 6:30-7:45 LC+ Strength in the Gym. Start your 5 min warm up and mobility when you arrive.

Tuesday(25) 4:30-6:00 LC/LC+ Skate Rollerski with some short sprints and agility. Meet at the teamroom.

Thursday(27) 4:30-6:15 LC/LC+ Straight to the gym with Susie. Bring clean indoor shoes.

Saturday(29) 9:00-10:30 LC/LC+ Ski Striding Intensity (Zone4 and BullsEye). Meet at the teamroom.

Persistence can change failure into extraordinary achievement. -Matt Biondi
