    Hello,

School is in full swing, and there are lots of germs floating around out there. Look after yourselves: hydrate, eat well, go to bed early, sleep lots 9-10hrs, and wash your hands all of which all will help you from getting sick, and better adapt to your training.

As well, fall arrived here last week, so be sure you are dressing well for training sessions: jacket, pants, toque when it is cold.

Be sure to talk to your Phys Ed teacher and register for XC Running Zones. This is a great running race opportunity.

    Training this week:

Monday(25): 6:15-7:30 Strength at the BWTC. Get started on your mobility/warm up when you arrive.

Tuesday(26): 4:30-6:30 Run/hike. Meet at the Harvey Heights Trailhead.

Wednesday(27): 4:30-6:00 Ski Striding intensity in Bull’s Eye. Meet at the Teamroom.

Thrusday(28): 4:30-6:30 Run and Strength. Meet at the Teamroom.

Saturday(30): 9:00-11:30 Road Bike Ride on Legacy and Minnewanka Loop. Bring your bright vest to ride on the road.

“My experience as a coach tells me that to become a world champion in endurance disciplines, you have to train SMART, AND you have to train A LOT. One without the other is insufficient.” -Dag Kaas, coached 12 individual world champions in 4 different sports.
