    Camp Week! Yay! 8)

What a great week of training we have ahead! With our regular training sessions, the school cross country and a camp at Nipika it will be a busy week so it is important to make sure you get a good amount of sleep, rest well and make sure you fuel yourself with good food and keep hydrated so you can give your best at every session.

    Monday 28th: 5 – 6:30pm @ CNC
Today will be a classic rollerski session. We will work on balance and agility, with and without poles to get you feeling more comfortable with classic techniques on rollerskis. If you require equipment from the Club please try to arrive at the Team Room by 4:50pm so we can get started at 5pm. Please remember your helmet and a drink belt!

    Wednesday 30th: 5 – 6:30pm @ CNC and BWTC
R & R night! This will be an active recovery and rolling session. We will head out for a recovery trail run then head in to the BWTC to learn about trigger point release with the use of a foam roller and spikey balls. Meet at the BWTC at 5pm to drop off foam roller, drink belt and spare shirt to change into. Parents are welcome to join us, BYO roller. Please bring your own roller if you have one.

You will all have received the camp information for Nipika via email from Alain. Please check the document for full details of the camp but here is the basics for Friday.
    Friday 2nd October:
    T2’s comfortable with Classic rollerskiing
    10:30AM: Meet at the
    beginning of Vermillion Lakes
    road in Banff
    10:45 – 12:15 classic rollerski
    along the 1A parkway. Finish
on the parkway. We will gather
on the side of the route. Eat
    lunch then drive to Nipika

    T1/s and other T2’s
Arrive Nipika at 4:00PM: Afternoon workout (strength, agility, speed,
    balance, etc)

If would be great if parents could start communicating about car pooling so that we can get all the athletes to the camp and back without all parents have to drive.

While some may see them as crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who think they are crazy enough to change the world, are the ones who do.
