Woo hoo! Fall is finally here and we can get together for formal workouts, yee haw!! 😛 😛
Team workout times are as follows, meeting location is generally the Canmore Nordic Team Room unless otherwise indicated in the Forum post:
Monday 5 – 6:30pm
Wednesday 5 – 6:30pm
NO SATURDAY WORKOUTS IN SEPTEMBER
*Note we typically do not have a workout on the Monday after a camp or race.
Monday 5th & Wednesday 7th
No team workouts this week as it’s the first week of a new school year. Give yourself some time to get back into the swing of things with getting up early and organising your homework and workout times!
Monday 12th: @ Nordic Centre
Get ready to run and work on your team building skills!! We’ll mix in some strength exercises while we’re out on the trails.
Wednesday 14th: @ Nordic Centre
Skate rollerski – please arrive earlier than 5pm to get your equipment sorted out. Bring a helmet and skate poles.
Monday 19th: @ Nordic Centre
Uphill Monitoring Run! 2 parent volunteers needed – FOUND! Thanks Helen and Nikki!! See attached map of course and familiarize yourself, it’s a 4+ minute uphill challenge!
Wednesday 21st: @ Nordic Centre
Ski striding & hill bounding. Ski striding poles needed, these should be 30cm less than your height.
Monday 26th: @ Nordic Centre
Classic rollerski – please arrive earlier than 5pm to get your equipment sorted out. Bring a helmet and skate poles.
Wednesday 28th: location TBD
Hike with poles.
Friday 30th September – Sunday 2nd October: Nipika Camp
T2’s start Friday AM with rollerski along 1A
