PACING:
It is important to do a good warm up (with some intensity) and not start your race too fast. You coach will talk to you about this tomorrow morning.
STADIUM:
Access to the start is via the east side of the day lodge (walk on the road). You are not allowed to ski to the start via the ski trails. We will try our best to have a coach with you at the start.
ARRIVAL TIME:
Check the start list and please arrive at the wax room 1:15 before your start.
AWARDS:
The awards will be on the west side of the day lodge immediately following each race.
NOTES:
ALWAYS SKI IN THE DIRECTION OF TRAVEL. NEVER SKI BACKWARDS ON THE COURSES. A SKIER WAS FINED $100 TODAY FOR SKIING BACKWARDS. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO COACHES AND PARENTS. NO SKIING ON THE COURSE WHILE THE RACES ARE ON.
– The course close at 9:50am. The AB Cup course might reopen for a few minutes before the first start of the AB Cup. More details tomorrow morning.
– Ski marking for NORAM races but not for the AB Cups
– We will have your bib in our Team Room when you arrive
– Start list will posted later this evening on the http://www.zone4.ca website
– For those that are racing on Monday, bring your race classic skis with you on Sunday to wax after your race.
Lots of details, but the important thing is to ski your course as best as you can. Have fun doing this.
