Great job to everyone that did the Spray Drag and Grizzly run. It was good to get a tough race in for the fall. You should feel an improvement in your “race shape” with this race and the xc zones. Now we have a mixed block of training. Frozen Thunder will be ready this weekend. Yahoo!

FROZEN THUNDER: We will skis on FT this fall. Most of the on-snow training will be at our after school session – there is no charge to ski at that time. Note that we might change the workout at the last minute if the conditions are really icy, so always bring your running gear to each workout. We will also ski occasionally on weekends (every weekend for older LC’s) – you need a pass to ski at that time. Club coaches will not check for passes but a conservation officer might stop you and give you a ticket ($175 I think). It is your responsibility to make sure you are legit for those workouts. A special Junior Frozen Thunder pass is available for $62.50 (Oct 19-Nov 15) or get a day pass (each time) for $7.50.

Don’t forget the club pre-swap sale this week. See separate post.

Tue (15): T3/LC. 4:45-6:45. Classic rollerskiing + strength in gym. Women will start with rollerskiing, men in gym. Biathletes to go to gym straight away at 5:15pm.

Wed (16): LC only. 4:30-6:00pm, team room. Pick the technique that you need more work on and bring that gear. We will do mostly Z1 with technique. Biathletes have today off.

Thu (17): No session today due to ADT & AST camps + high school awards + the fact that all trained on Thanksgiving Monday (do your Monday training today if you took Monday off). XC skiers have today off. Biathletes will do a short and earlier session (check Jeff’s post).

Sat (19): Ski swap – early bird at 9am, regular at 10am. T3/LC -> Skate ski on Frozen Thunder at 11am (meet at team room), then strength in gym. We will be done at 1pm. Bring food (protein/carb) for after training.

AST and ADT camp is from Thursday evening to Monday afternoon.

Please fill in ilog and wear your hrm at sessions.
